Beginning is 2018, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville would like to honor our faculty, staff, and student veterans who have been awarded a Purple Heart. The Purple Heart parking permit allows students and staff to park in any unreserved lot on campus.
In order to receive your Purple Heart parking permit please bring a copy of your DD214 to the Veterans Success Center. Once your Purple Heart award status has been verified you will need to purchase a regular parking permit. There is no additional cost for the Purple Heart designation.
You will need to purchase your permit either online or through Parking Services.
The University also has a daily Purple Heart parking pass available at no cost for visitors to campus who have been awarded a Purple Heart
