Students using chapter 33 VA education payments will need to self certify, in addition to turning in an enrollment certification request. Once your enrollment is certified to the VA, you will receive a text message from the VA to opt in to the monthly enrollment verification system
Students who are receiving benefits under Chapter 30 (MGIB), 1606, and 1607 REAP must verify their monthly enrollment status on the last day of every month by calling 1-877-823-2378 or going online to the Department of Veteran Affairs website.
Failure to do so will result in non-payment.
If you make an adjustment in your hours on WAVE, you must also notify the UTKVA Office.
