Job Fairs

The Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration offers several job fairs every year. Whether you are hiring for part-time jobs, internships, or full-time positions, this is your opportunity to talk with a number of students in one central location.

UPCOMING FAIRS (Spring 2025)– Please pay close attention to the confirming email/invoice you receive when your registration has been approved by the career center as it will have specific information you need to prepare for your participation in the Job Fairs.


The Spring 2025 Job & Internship Fairs are comprised of two fair days and two interview days.

Tuesday, February 18th — Spring Job Fair, Day 1: Business and Government
  • Day 1 interviews will follow on 2/19 from 8am-4:30pm. You must register for these on the fair registration page on Handshake. The interview room fee is $50.
Wednesday, February 19th — Spring Job Fair, Day 2: Engineering and Tech
  • Day 2 interviews will follow on 2/20 from 8am-4:30pm. You must register for these on the fair registration page on Handshake. The interview room fee is $50.

Registration fees are as follows:

  • Corporate employers: $700 to attend one fair. $900 to attend both fairs. Interview room fees are $50 per day.
  • Government, Non-profit and Startup employers: $350 to attend one fair. $450 to attend both fairs. Interview room fees are $50 per day.

Registration will be open until Tuesday, February 7th. Due to limited space and increased employer interest, we are likely to sell out before the registration deadline. In addition, we will be placing employers in the event space on a first-come, first-served basis. Employers who register early will be placed in the Ballroom until it fills. Then, we will be placing employers in our overflow space across the hall.

Primarily for engineering co-ops and internships, the Engineering Expo serves all engineering undergraduate students and is put on by the Engineering Professional Practice office in the College of Engineering. The Architecture & Design Fair 2025 is comprised of one fair day on Friday, February 7th.

Engineering Expo, Tuesday, March 4th in the Knoxville Convention Center at 701 Henley Street

Primarily for engineering co-ops and internships, the Engineering Expo serves all engineering undergraduate students and is put on by the Engineering Professional Practice office in the College of Engineering. Registration instructions for the Engineering Expo on 3/4 are shared on their website:

This event focuses on students who are interested in organizations seeking Engineers and tech-related majors. It is targeted to students in the following majors/areas: Engineering, hard sciences like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc., Agriculture Science areas, Technology-focused areas, and Mathematics. The Spring 2025 Healthcare Career Connections Night is a FREE networking event for UTK pre-health students to meet healthcare-related employers. This event is oriented toward undergraduate students; although, it it open to all students.

The SEC & ACC Virtual Fair 2025 is comprised of one-day virtual fair on Wednesday, April 9th. The fair is hosted through the virtual event host CareerEco. This will be the only all-majors virtual fair that is promoted to UTK students for Spring 2025.

Who is invited?

  • Students & Alumni from 34 SEC & ACC Schools across all Majors & Degrees
  • Candidates seeking Full-time, Intern, & Co-op jobs
  • More than 2,500 jobseeker registrants in prior events

Your registration includes a 6-foot table, two chairs, and surrounding space (approximately one ft. on either side of your table and two ft. behind) for four representatives (we encourage you to reserve an additional table if bringing five or more representatives). Displays should be no wider than six feet and must fit in your display area. Beverages and a light snack will be provided. Parking is provided, and instructions for parking locations will be sent out before the event.
