Internship Resources for Employers

Whether you are in the beginning stages of creating an internship program or you are looking to advertise or enhance a well-established internship program at your organization, the Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration can help. Use the resources below to get started.

VOL Guide to Internships

The VOL Guide to Internships will walk you through the process of creating an internship in addition to providing pertinent information about the University of Tennessee’s internship processes and procedures.

Micro-Internships

We have partnered with Parker Dewey to help connect employers and students interested in micro-internships. These are typically 10-40 hour paid projects that students can complete virtually. Sign up for a Parker Dewey account and view more details about the platform and micro-internships. A quick fact sheet about UT’s program can be found here.

Experience Learning Initiative

Learn more about the University of Tennessee’s Experience Learning initiative which will “transform our culture to give students more opportunities to be involved in civic engagement, to solve complex real-world problems, and to contribute to the welfare of their communities as part of their regular course work”.
