Benefits & Additional Resources

The Veterans Success Center, located in Hodges Library is well equipped with everything student veterans may need to make the most of their time at UT. The center is fully staffed and has a study space with computers and a casual space for gathering. The VSC has a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and free snacks and coffee during business hours. Please stop by and visit! 

In addition to this, the Division of Student Success offers many resources that students have the opportunity to take advantage of. This includes:

Academic Success Center (ASC)

ASC’s mission is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed by providing campus leadership and advocacy for student success at UT, identifying and implementing academic success programs that support progress toward graduation, and enriching the undergraduate student experience.
First-Year Programs (FYP)

FYP is devoted to ensuring a smooth transition and a successful experience for all students in their first year at UT. The goal of FYP is to help students transition—personally, socially, and academically—to life at UT. Effectively making these transitions in the first year is crucial to success at UT, graduation, and future achievement.
Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration (CCDAE)

The CCDAE empower scholars to create and achieve career goals by providing comprehensive career education. Through collaboration and innovative practices, the center encourages scholars to:
